VIBES have been setting the standard for prairie hardcore since forming in Edmonton in 2014. Known for their explosive positivity and kinetic live energy, the band delivers the same intensity whether headlining a festival or tearing up a small all‑ages venue. After four years, VIBES return with their new EP Just So You Know, arriving this summer and following their 2022 release Baseball Bat to the World’s End, which quickly became a local favourite.

What sets VIBES apart is their deep community focus. The band regularly organizes their own shows—and shows for touring acts—through Clean Up Your Act Productions, helping strengthen the Western Canadian DIY network. Their five‑part vocal assault, with every member contributing their own style, drives lyrics centered on social issues, personal growth, and radical positivity.
